Request data deletion
If you used Family Quote Board with a Google account, you can ask us to delete the personal data tied to that account (membership record and related access). Quotes and people records on a shared family board may be kept if other members still need them, or removed when they only relate to you—tell us what you want in your email.
How to request deletion
- Email privacy@familyquoteboard.com from an address we can verify.
- Include the Google account email you used to sign in to the App.
- Say clearly that you want your account / membership deleted, and note any specific quotes or people records you want removed.
What we will do
- Verify the request (for example, by confirming control of the Google email on the account).
- Disable or delete your membership so you can no longer sign in to that board.
- Remove or de-identify personal data we hold about you as an access account, except where we must retain limited records for security or legal reasons.
- Confirm by email when the request is complete.
Owners of a family board
If you are the only Owner, contact us before deletion so we can transfer ownership or wind down the board. We will not leave a board without an active Owner.
